Lahore: Pakistan Cricket Board just unveiled the platinum category players for 2020 and we have 28 international stars already signed up for the tournament. Players draft 2020 will be held on December 6.

South Africa’s pacer Dale Steyn along with England’s world cup winners Moeen Ali & Adil Rasheed have signed up for the upcoming season of Pakistan Super League. South Africa’s 2nd highest run-scorer and star batsman Hashim Amla has also signed up for the most famous tournament.

28 International cricket stars sign up for Platinum Category in PSL:

The total number of international players from 8 cricketing nations included in the Platinum category is 28. 7 players from England, 6 South African, 5 West Indian & 3 each from Australia and Afghanistan are part of draft too.

England:

Among the most notable players that have signed up for this year’s draft are Moeen Ali, Alex Hales, Liam Plunket, Adil Rashid, Jason Roy, Chris Jordan & Harry Gurney from England.

Australia:

Australia’s Ben Cutting, Dan Christian, and batting might Chris Lynn have also signed up for the upcoming cricketing festival which is enjoyed across the globe.

South Africa:

6 players to shine in the coming edition of the game include Hashim Amla, JP Duminy, Colin Ingram, Rilee Rossouw, Dale Steyn, and Imran Tahir.

5 West Indians in PSL’s Platinum category:

Carlos Brathwaite, Dwayne Bravo, Evin Lewis, Sunil Narine, and Kieron Pollard have also shown interest in the upcoming season of the Pakistan Super League.

Sri Lanka:

Angelo Mathews and Thisara Parera

Afghanistan:

Rashid Khan, Muhammad Nabi, Mujeeb Ur Rehman

Nepal:

Sandeep Lamichhane

Each franchise can pick a maximum of 3 platinum category players with Quetta Gladiators to pick first this time. Pakistan Cricket Board had also reduced the salary cap of Platinum players to $1.1 million which was previously $1.38 million.

Quetta Gladiators is the first one to pick this time with Lahore Qalandars, Multan Sultan Islamabad United, Peshawar Zalmi & Karachi kings will pick have 6th pick in 1st round.
